Bandsaw blade setting pliers
Bandsaw blade setting pliers are used to alternately bend the teeth of a bandsaw blade to the left and right. This creates a kerf that is wider than the blade itself, allowing the blade to run freely through the cut. An even tooth set on both sides is essential, as deviations can affect cutting accuracy and the running behaviour of the bandsaw blade.
HaBuR offers two versions for different blade thicknesses. Size 1 setting pliers are designed for bandsaw blades with a maximum thickness of 1.5 mm. For thicker bandsaw blades up to 2.5 mm, Size 2 setting pliers are available. Both versions allow the tooth set to be adjusted manually and precisely in workshops and sawmills.
